NEW CLASSES - This year we are going to run some new classes for the first time.

We are calling these sessions “How to Know Your Horse and Get the Best from Him” and they will conducted by Mrs Walker.

There are so many people with new horses and not sure how to look after them in the correct manner, understand the differences in every horse and how to understand them, we felt it was time to give instruction in the principles upon which all success is based.  There will be content, not only for new owners, but for long time owners as well - there will be some secrets revealed and some myths exploded.

Subjects will include catching, grooming, rugging to keep the coat at its best, hoof care, feeding, how to save money by avoiding unnecessary costs, lungeing, steps to take in an exercise or training session, the warming up and cooling down processes, successful floating, the whys and wherefores of what you should do for your horse’s comfort, health and happiness, and how to avoid the pitfalls.

One may say, “That’s easy, I know all the stuff!”  Do you really know how to do them the correct way?  Believe me doing the simplest tasks correctly is  the key to success and many people do them wrongly then wonder why the more complex things do not work.  These clinics will show you the things many people do not realise exist.  These lecture clinics are open to juniors and adults; Mums and Dads can keep up on the latest too and the cost will be $22 a head.

Mrs Walker has lectured Australia wide and internationally.  Her advice is based on a lifetime of experience in many equine fields including Hacking, Showing, Dressage, Pony Club, all Breeds, etc.  Her past pupils are winning in many different horse activities.

Conformation and Judging Lessons - Mrs Walker will also be conducting these classes as required.

The riding side of working with your horse will be capably handled by Lindy in regular lessons and Schools.

Shop Prep. School - A Special School to train people on the latest methods of Show preparation and how to present their horses for the Show Ring - Designed for Adults and juniors a like.  Grooming, trimming, plaiting, pulling the tail and all the other things that make you feel equal when you stand in the Ring beside the professionals.  The first Schools was a great success - Another will be held at a future date to be notified.

Horsemanship Classes - Are available on request and are structured to each individual's standard and needs or plans.  Please call us to discuss your needs...
